Sixth-grade student Brendan McCormack of Brooklyn Middle School was named a finalist at the Connecticut Invention Convention and has been invited to attend the National Invention Convention and Entrepreneurship event in Washington, D.C. 17,000 students from 247 elementary and middle schools across Connecticut began the innovative and creative process of designing an invention for the Connecticut Invention Convention.  Brendan’s invention, the Cramp Crusher, is an example of a student’s ability to solve a problem, think creatively, experiment, and work with data.  Congratulations to Brendan and all of this year’s inventors!
