SIxth and seventh grade students in Ms. Reading’s quarter 3 computer classes completed research projects that culminated in the creation of a Glog (an online poster). The students used various print and web based sources to collect information. They used information from these sources to write about their chosen topic. Seventh graders researched natural disasters and sixth graders researched a historical monument. The students had to take notes and cite all of their sources in Noodletools. Finally, they were able to get creative and present their information on a Glog. Two groups of students who completed the project ahead of time also wrote a fictional account of their disaster and recorded their story on Audacity. All the students did a wonderful job while learning and using Information Literacy  and Technology skills.
