On January 31, the 8th grade class brought back an old Brooklyn Middle School tradition, the infamous “Faculty Game.”  The game was played as a fundraiser for the 8th grade class, and the 8th grade members of the girls and boys basketball teams played against ten members of the faculty.  As always, the game did not disappoint! Though the staff was exhausted by the end of it, everyone who participated really had a great time. As you might expect, the game did not go the staff’s way, and the 8th graders won by a sizable margin.

During halftime, the members of the cheer team put on a terrific performance.  The students, parents, and faculty who attended had a great time.

Special thanks to the all the staff who supported us by collecting money, providing crowd control and even cheering us on in the stands.

Also a special thanks to our referees, Walt Zadora and John Donfrancisco, for donating their time.

We’re already preparing for next year’s game. It should be a lot of fun! Photo Gallery
